Chloe Magee ousts Perrine Le Buhanic in Women’s Singles pre-quarter-final of Turkiye International
Ireland’s talented player Chloe Magee displayed a wonderful show of her top class skills and stormed into Women’s Singles top-eight stage after defeating Perrine Le Buhanic of France in round-os-16 clash at Turkiye International 2012 on Thursday, December
20, in Turkey.
The third seeded Chloe, who has been displaying her impressive skills in the recent tournaments, played with wonderful control in her shots and easily crushed her lower ranked French rival in just 24 minutes.
Irish player was in superb form in the arena as she played with incredible speed and precision throughout the round-of-16 battle and eventually wrapped up victory in straight sets with a spectacular margin.
On the contrary, the lower ranked Perrine tried to put up strong resistance by playing to her maximum speed but she failed to make a right choice of shots and went down to her Irish rival without winning any set.
The incredible Chloe showed a wonderful aggression on court from the initial points of first game by playing attacking badminton and remained successful in building up a remarkable pressure on her opponent.
The tempo of the rallies was quite and it was Chloe who put up strong show in all areas of the court and remained successful in pushing her rival on back foot.
Until the end of first part of opening game, the in-form Chloe attained a strong position on board by setting up a sufficient gap.
The battle proceeded in the same fashion in the concluding half of opening game as Chloe did not lose her focus at any stage and stayed ahead in the arena.
It was an uninterrupted ride for the in-form Chloe who did not face any considerable fight from her opponent and won the first game with a staggering 21-15 difference on the board.
Things were not much different in the second set of this entertaining contest as Chloe played in the similar attacking fashion.
The perfectly executed smashes and wonderful net play kept Chloe ahead of her challenger all the way until the one-minute interval in second game.
Chloe was quick and positive in the arena in the ending points of second set and won the second set with a lopsided 21-10 margin on the score board.
The incredible Chloe did not face any considerable trouble in pre-quarter-final battle and finished it off in just 24 minutes with a smashing total of 21-15 and 21-10.
