Chloe Sutton captures Women’s 400m freestyle gold – 2013 Austin Grand Prix
Chloe Sutton of Mission Viejo Nadadores captured gold medal of the Women’s 400m freestyle on concluding day of the 2013 ST TXLA Austin Grand prix at Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, on Friday, January 18.
The 20-year-old Sutton demonstrated her notable efforts in the mediocre distance freestyle discipline and tapped the wall for gold medal. With her commendable efforts, she remained considerably ahead of her closest competitor and secured the title.
Sutton stayed full body length ahead of her following swimmer and transpired on the finishing end for gold medal by producing a time of 4 minutes and 09.35 seconds.
She was chased by Barbara Jardin of PPO, who stayed 0.88 seconds slower and surfaced on the finishing end for silver medal by producing a time of 4 minutes and 10.27 seconds.

Fourth fastest spot of the race was obtained by Missy Franklin of Colorado Stars-C, who stayed 1.40 seconds behind and posted a time of 4 minutes and 12.56 seconds.
Franklin was traced by Alexa Komarnycky of Island Swimming, who stayed 0.15 seconds slower and transpired on the finishing end by submitting a time of 4 minutes and 12.71 seconds for fifth position.
Sixth spot of the race was obtained by Kate Ziegler of The Fish-PV, who was considerably slower from her former finisher and hit the wall with an effort of 4 minutes and 14.46 seconds.
Ziegler was followed by Ashley Twichell of Mission Viejo Nadadores, who was 0.94 seconds behind and posted a time of 4 minutes and 15.40 seconds.
Last spot of the race was obtained by Leah Stevens of Lakeside Swim Team, who was 0.27 seconds apart and touched the wall with an effort of 4 minutes and 15.67 seconds.
In addition, Sutton was extremely overjoyed with her alluring effort in the playoff of 400m discipline and received accolade at the prize ceremony of the event.
