  1. It's not chlorine.  Normal pool water is chlorinated between 1-3ppm with 5 tops.  Regular house water can contain 0.5ppm of chlorine.  Thats not very much and most people cannot sence chlorine until it gets up to 15ppm.

Chlorine smell is usually chloramine, partially combined chlorine and ammonia from decomposition.  Soap and water are your best bet.

Used to do the same thing as you when I was in High School and it wasn't until I got into the pool industry till I figured it out!

    You're welcome!!

  2. Try Malibu Swim & Sport shampoo and conditioner. It works on hair and skin, all you do is lather the shampoo all over and allow it to sit for about 3 minutes and rinse. No more smell!

  3. there are some chlorine specific shampoos that help with the chlorine smell, but bottom line, if the class is like ten minutes afterwards your pretty much just gonna have to accept smelling like a pool. its all good, i smelled like a pool for almost 8 years straight when i swam, you'll get used to it and it doesnt bother other people as much as you think, if it really does then they dont need to sit by u
