can anyone give me a needed simple chocolate chip cookie recipe which only contains chocolate chips and not nuts or anything added

  3. The recipe for Toll house cookies is on the bag of chocolate chips by Nestles.  Just leave out the nuts.

        * 4oz/113g margarine

        * 4½oz/127g sugar

        * 1 egg

        * 8oz/226g plain flour2

        * 1 tsp baking powder

        * 100g packet chocolate chips

        * 2 drops vanilla essence

    Method

       1. Beat sugar and margarine together.

       2. Add egg and beat into sugar and margarine mixture.

       3. Sift flour. Add essence, baking powder and chocolate chips.

       4. Mix together, divide into 15 pieces and flatten out on a greased tray or lined with Baking Parchment (Not Greaseproof Paper).

       5. Bake for 10 minutes at 170°C or 338°F or Gas 3½.

  5. I like a chewier cookie sometimes, so I add quick oats.  

    Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour

    1 tsp. soda

    1/2 tsp. salt

    1/2 tsp. cinnamon

    2 sticks butter

    3/4 c. sugar

    3/4 c. packed brown sugar

    2 eggs

    1 tsp. vanilla

    3 c. oats, uncooked

    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside. In large mixer bowl beat softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by level tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies, 9 to 10 minutes for crisper cookies. Makes 4 dozen.

    125g sugar

    1 large egg

    1 tea spoon vanilla essence

    225g self raising flour

    75g plain flour

    100g choclate chips

    steps

    1-preheat oven to gas mark 7

    2- cream butter and sugar together

    3-beat in the egg

    4- add both flours and mix

    5- stir in the chocolate chips

    6- make cookie shapes with hand and place them on a baking tray

    7-cook for 10-15 minutes.

  9. If i told you mine, id have to kill you. but you can try the one on the bag of Nestle Chocolate Chips. Oh, its the big bag (72 oz). you can get one at Costco.  

  10. search for a recipe that has vanilla pudding mix in it. My sister makes one wiht that and they turn out really good. You can basically find a recipe if you go to foodtv.com and search "chocolate chip cookies".

    Yogurt Chocolate Chip cookies

    INGREDIENTS

    1/2 cup packed brown sugar

    1/2 cup white sugar

    1/4 cup margarine or butter

    1/4 cup shortening

    1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt

    2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

    1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

    DIRECTIONS

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

    In a medium bowl, cream together the brown sugar, white sugar, margarine and shortening until light and fluffy. Stir in yogurt and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until incorporated, then mix in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.

    Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges begin to brown. Cool for a minute on the cookie sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

    SLICE AND BAKE COOKIE VARIATION:

    PREPARE dough as above. Divide in half; wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm. Shape each half into 15-inch log; wrap in waxed paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.* Preheat oven to 375° F. Cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices; place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

    * May be stored in refrigerator for up to 1 week or in freezer for up to 8 weeks.

    FOR HIGH ALTITUDE BAKING (5,200 feet): Increase flour to 2 1/2 cups. Add 2 teaspoons water with flour and reduce both granulated sugar and brown sugar to 2/3 cup each. Bake drop cookies for 8 to 10 minutes and pan cookie for 17 to 19 minutes.

    1/3 sugar

    1/2 cup condensed milk

    1/2 self raising flour (If you don't have self raising flour, add in 1/4 ts salt & 1 1/2 ts baking powder)

    + Chocolate chips or what ever you want to add; raisins, nuts, cinnamon

    Cream butter and sugar. Beat in condensed milk and flour. Add chocolate. Roll into small balls and place on tray. Bake for about 10minutes at 356 F. Enjoy!!
