Has anyone got a recipe for Chocolate Marshmallow Rice Krispies Cakes?

No peanut butter, honey or golden syrup. Also, metric measurements.

    Here's my version again in METRIC!!!

    Your Recipe in Metric

    Chocolate Kellogg's® Rice Krispies Treats®

    Ingredients

    45 grams margarine or butter

    1 package (about 40) regular marshmallows

    - or -

    480 grams miniature marshmallows

    toss in chocolate chips to your liking

    54 grams Rice Krispies® (for a real chocolaty cake use chocolate cocoa krispies).

    Directions

    1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips.

    2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

    3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2- pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool. Best if served the same day.

    MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:

    In a microwave safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Follow steps 2 and 3 above.

    Microwave cooking times may vary.

    Note

    For best results, use fresh marshmallows.

    1 jar marshmallow creme can be substituted for marshmallows.

    Diet, reduced calorie or tub margarine is not recommended.

    Store no more than two days in airtight container.

    To help smooth in any size pan - use a food handler's disposable glove or spatula greased with butter or margarine.

  3. *CHOCOLATE RICE KRISPIES TREATS

    1/4 cup butter

    2-3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

    1 pkg. (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 c. miniature marshmallows

    6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

    1 teaspoon chocolate or vanilla extract

    1/2 cup raisins, dry cherries, Craisins or slivered almonds

    In a large saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring until melted. Stir in cocoa powder and chocolate or vanilla extract. Remove from heat. (This step can be completed in the microwave).

    While still warm, stir in Rice Krispies and raisins/cherries/Craisins/ or almonds (choose one). Continue to stir until all ingredients are well mixed and coated.

    Spray a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan with Pam or other non-stick spray (or just brush the pan with butter). Press the still warm mixture into the pan using a silicone spatula or the buttered back of a large spoon.

    Allow to cool and cut into 2 inch squares.

        * 1 pound mini marshmallows

        * 8 cups Rice Krispies cereal

    INSTRUCTIONS

       1. In a large pot, heat the butter over low heat until melted. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until melted and thoroughly combined with the butter. Turn off the heat.

       2. Stir the cereal into the marshmallow mixture, mixing until the cereal is evenly coated.

       3. Using a buttered spatula or buttered waxed paper, press the mixture into molds. Let cool.

       4. Remove the cakes from molds, stack them, and decorate as desired.
