  1. Daim?

    That's depressing.

Dime probably means "urine" in Icelandic or something.

  2. they are from sweden, and thats the name the swedes use

  3. DAIM that is annoying! Just like when the Smarties tubes changed from tubes to octagonal tubes. This really is confectionery madness isn't it!

  4. The same reason they changed marathon to snickers, EU names can be the same all over Europe and this makes packaging cheaper.

If the Brits still had the Dime bar then it would have to be a separate wrapper!

Hope you understand what I mean by that.

  5. probably people in other countries have trouble saying it , as in the cleaner jif , it was re-named to cif as the portugese and spanish speakers couldn't pronounce the J's

  6. yeah i noticed that to it has just changed name I think, still tastes the same. idk why its changed name though

  7. could be an imported version of our dime bar or could be the fact a lot of other nationalities have problems with the pronunciation of some of our words.does it matter if it tastes the same?

  8. It was originally Daim (it's Swedish) and the name was anglisized for the UK market, but it's not really worth having a separate wrapper and product run just for UK, so we now have the original.

  9. never heard of it. maybe they are spelling it phonetically.

  10. check out http://www.AussieFoodShop.com they might have it!
