  1. This is a jewish recipe for passover where they can't use dairy. Hope this helps you.

    Homemade Chocolate Fondue

    Prep Time: 5 minutes

    Cook Time: 4 minutes

    Chill Time: none

    Yield: 4 servings

    ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

    ¾ cup sugar

    ½ cup margarine

    ½ cup liquid non-dairy creamer

    For dipping:

choose any or all of the following:

    Fresh fruit

    Dried fruit

    Marshmallows

    Passover cakes and cookie

Sift cocoa through a fine mesh sieve. In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine cocoa, sugar, margarine and non-dairy creamer, stirring continuously for 4 minutes or until heated through.

Pour cocoa mixture into a fondue pot or bowl for dipping. Surround with selected dipping treats and serve with toothpicks.

  2. *Chocolate Fondue (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Nut-Free, Soy-Free)

1- 10 oz bag Enjoy Life®  chocolate chips

2 tbsp Earth Balance mararine (contains soy) or Spectrum shortening

1/4 cup Lundberg Farm's brown rice syrup

        1 tsp  vanilla extract

        1 tbsp tapioca flour

        1/4 cup water#

Place margarine, brown rice syrup, vanilla and tapioca flour in a microwavable container.

Heat mixture just until butter is melted, stir to combine ingredients.

Add chocolate chips to butter mixture, stirring until combined. Mixture will "seize" and form a ball.

Add water and stir until smooth.

Keep warm and serve with fresh fruit, cookies, or anything you'd like.  #TIP For a creamier fondue, use 1/4 rice milk or soy milk in place of water, if diet permits.

    *Chocolate Fondue

1 pound of premium semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, well chopped

1 1/2 cups of organic heavy cream

Set aside the chopped chocolate. Pour the cream into a medium, thick-bottomed saucepan (or double boiler if you have one) over low heat. Bring the cream to a simmer and add the chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted.Transfer the chocolate to a fondue pot

    *Dairy Free Chocolate Fondue

1-10 ounce package "safe" semi-sweet chocolate chips ( I use Enjoy Life brand)

1/2 cup soy or rice milk

    1 tablespoon canola oil

    1/2 c. "safe" miniature marshmallows

    ---Dippers:---

    Whole strawberries

    Sliced bananas

    large "safe" marshmallows

Cereal bars cut in small pieces (such as Rice Krispie Bars)

Set fondue pot on low or warm setting. Add the chocolate chips, milk and oil. Melt the chocolate chips, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and mixture is smooth and creamy.

Using dipping forks, dip the "dippers" in the fondue pot coating well with the chocolate. Enjoy and have fun! Makes about 2-1/2 cups.

    ENJOY :-)
