  1. my sons 19 and he says clubbing is great in bournemouth, also its good for the beaches

  2. You can get best of both in Torquay. Very nice beach(Red sand) just down the road in Paignton.

    Plenty of clubing in both.

  3. i live near these places and have visited all of them

bournemouth i'd say was better for hitting clubs for sure-big university scene, many big restaurants, clubs, gigs, beach (the bournemouth beach is having artificial wave system put in) and the nearby isle of purbeck has some beautiful beach areas, such as lulworth cove, durdle door(the naturally sea made arch), Studland (known for its sand dunes and wide range of heathers, snakes, lizards)

torquay is okay for night life-a few good shops, several restaurants, cinema, the usual-not much in the way of a beach however, though the swimming facilities at the leisure center there are good

weymouth... well, it's very much a tourist area. the beach is long and sandy, though rather plagued with deckchairs, burger bars, candy floss and icecream stalls, and people that look like they've been going there every year for a fortnights beach holiday for the past 20 years... lots of greasy spoon restaurants serving fried foods... night life wise? there are several pubs with live music, and a theatre that often shows pantomimes such as mother goose... i wouldn't really recommend
