  1. lol...Id like to see Cindy Sheehan checked into the boards.

Oh and A. Even if B happened Id probably not belive it.

  2. Choice A

Because B gives me no reason to spill my beer.

  3. A, only because i would pee my pants in fear if choice B occured

  4. A.

just because my team is toronto!

  5. Choices? Lets examine the chances instead. To do that lets break down 'B' first.

All the stars (suns) we see are in our own galaxy, the Milky Way. Everything else we see in the night sky is either another galaxy, a nebula, a galactic cluster or other huge phenomenon.  It is estimated that there are billions of stars in our galaxy. For easy figuring lets say the are one billion and we can see 1% of all the stars there are. So 100 billion in total. Now, first and foremost, in order to have intelligent life a star must have a solar system that includes planets. It is estimated that 10% of stars have some sort of solar system that does this. So lets assume we have 10 billion solar systems. Now lets say that only one of the planets in a system can support life and only 1% of the systems that can support life, do. So we may have 100 million planets supporting life.

Now the question states "has contacted them and will tell us what they have said". Which implies that the life is somewhat advanced, they can communicate with us.

Lets say that 1% of the alien life has evolved past the insect and vegitation state and is capable of walking and talking. So we now have 1 million planets with walking, talking aliens. Of these 1 million or so planets with walking, talking aliens, lets figure 1% of these has mastered radio technology. So that would be 10 thousand planets with walking, talking aliens with radios. Of course the radios are not much benefit to us if we can't understand them and considering NASA is in the US where English is the chosen language, we would need aliens capable of speaking Enlish. The odds of this are not great, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say 1/10 of 1% of aliens speak English. So we have 10 planets out there with walking, talking aliens speaking English on their radios. Sounds good but consider the fact that here on earth we have only been technologically proficient with long distance communication for fifty years and once a radio signal has passed us it is gone forever. So for an alien to speak to us and have us hear it there would be a very narrow window of opportunity for reception. Consider the universe is 13.5 billion years old and we have had advanced radio technology for fifty of them and also assume their radio waves travel at the speed of light. So the chances of us intercepting the radio signal is 1/ 270,000,000. Given that we started out with 1 billion stars with a possible average of 10 planets on average, thats 10 billion times 270 million = 2.7X10x18. Given fact that it's only been 41 years since the Leafs last won the cup and they HAVE dumped John Ferguson. Dammit, I like our chances.

  6. A. Consider all the problems in this world why are we there?

to destroy another planet. that's an aw-full lot of money to be spending in space that could be used to help what we already have

Sheehan is already there. she is so dumb she forgot they weren't playing there tonight

  7. A

B would be kind of creepy :/

  8. Definitely "B", as I have already been fortunate enough to experience "A".

They said, "If Mike Milbury gets anyway near our spaceship, we will destroy the Earth. We don't want him trading it for a hackey-sack!"

Bonus round- Greenpeace, it's their job to save endangered species like Penguins.

  9. A.

    s***w ET.

Therrian wouldn't have to hire, 87 would do it on his own.

  10. B would probably be the most amazing thing to happen in millions of years. I would be honored to experience it during my lifetime. Thats my choice

  11. choice B doesnt effect me as directley as choice A, so Im going with A

+this is the hockey section lol

  12. Definitely A.

  13. A.........

  14. A.

Choice B would be scary... lol

  15. Definitely B. I love Hockey, but..........

Hopefully that would be beneath him, but no tellin' the way he's been acting, it's embarrassing!

  16. Too easy!!!! My team becoming a dynasty!!!! Unless, those other life forms are out of this world hockey players, and we slowly incorporate them into future drafts. I say slowly because we don't want to flood the NHL with a bunch of aliens. lol No one say, too late!

  17. s***w space c**p, dynasty ANY day.

    lmao @ dylan's answer!

  18. B. By far would be the most amazing news ever. I love hockey, but that would be absolutely amazing.

I think he might hire someone to protest . Maybe he can hire Jude. He seems really good at complaining . So he would be perfect

  19. Choice friggin' A. Unless the ETs play hockey. Actually, scratch that. I don't want to see the aliens play hockey. Unless they can beat the Canadians annually. Yeah, Team USA will offer them big bucks and some uranium or something. Or a KitKat. Or Britney Spears. Whatever aliens eat.

ADD: Yeah, yeah, Ross McKeon. LMAO. Did you hear/read about the Q&A where Therrien was asked about the fans and he answered ranting about obstruction. The poor guy who asked the question repeated it but Therrien told him they get their chance to say things they want to, and he wants to take his. HAHA.

  20. A

    B would be scary

  21. A- One of my teams is a dynasty (Toronto) but I dont care about aliens so choice A with Dallas.

    ADD: Yes

  22. I would definitely choose A because I really really don't want there to be life beyond Earth (unless that life looks exactly like David Tennant and my life becomes exactly like that of Doctor Who). Seeing my team win the Cup enough times to be a dynasty would be much more fun and fulfilling.

  23. I will take the Dynasty label.I like things here on earth and dont think anything else is out there.Except Heaven and h**l.

Dont you think that at least 1 time that we would see them, just once???Its hard to imagine but what if

  24. B.

So then my team can sign the life beyond earth and the become a dynasty.
