- LDL/HDL - 3.0

  1. I don't understand why your doctor did not go over this with you.

  2. Your results are pretty typical for someone on a fast food binge.

Your elevated chol/trig can normally be controlled with proper diet and exercise. After trying that for a couple months, if still elevated, then supplemental meds may be needed.

You high HDL is good. Most men have a problem with this, and it is difficult to bring up to high normal where it needs to be.

Your doctor should be able to give you advise about the diet you need to try.

Regular aerobic exercise of about an hour a day cannot be over emphasized. Cycling, running, rowing, swimming, fast walking.

    Good luck.

  3. I could answer this but I've never seen the readings you're listing in that sort of numerical order...if you have any other explanations for the numbers send them out....7.7 is nothing I've seen before...that should be expressed as a number in the 140 to 300 range...HDL also a number in the 40 to 100 range.
