All of it depends what kind of essay

If you are allowed ot input opinion, I would say the first, because it is up to you wether they were succesful or honorable

If you have to stick to the facts with very little opinion, the 2nd. You can do this essay by listing many senarios without having to use your own opinion

It also depends what 1st 2nd 3rd person u speaking in. Are you allowed to talk in I, ME, YOU, etc?
