Question:

Choosing a Women's Snowboard?

I'm using Rossignol Sublime snowboard now, and I find it too stiff to control. I'm planning on getting a new snowboard. These are the ones I'd consider so far:

Burton Lux

Ride Solace

Palmer Touch

K2 Skyla

Does anyone know which one of them has the softest flex and is the most controllable? It would be super if someone can rank them according to their flex. I'm approximately 5' and 95 lbs. (and not very athletic).... so I don't as much strength to turn the board when I ride.

Also, I don't ride in parks. (well... I'm not that skilled yet..)

  1. Definetly the k2 Skyla. Its sick sick sick, super buttery smooth and soft, that should definelt help you with your healside turns> BUT Im going to have to say that its not the snowboard that is making your healside turns hard, NO offence but its you. You need to make sure you are keeping your weight over your front foot. The reason you cant healside is becasuse you are leaning back. Keep your weight over that front foot and tilt the snowboard, kinda act like your squishing a bug with your heal, i know it sounds funnny, but trust me it works.,

  2. Go with the K2 Skyla!
