  1. you should get a crested gecko.

they are lovely and very fun to watch  .you can handle them but they can be jumpy.and if you don't want to give them live food you can give them only crested gecko diet that is a complete diet.they need a hygrometer and the humidity should be around 70 % you can mist the cage with a spray bottle that have never contain chemical product.the price will vary with the phase of the crested gecko but i think you can fin one in the price you fix.

here are some website on crested geckos:

  2. You should get a bearded dragon. They are great pets, the 38 gal is just big enough for them. About 70-80% of their diet is veg as adults. And you could probably find one for 30-100 dollars depending on where you get it.

  3. well dont buy a leopard geoko!

a couple years ago i had one of those and it bit me every time i touched it!

also feeding it crikets was REALLY gross!

  4. An iguana is a possibility, but you have to realize that within 3 years you will HAVE TO get a bigger cage. You'll have to probably make a cage out of a part of a room. Iguanas are a HUGE commitment.

Water Dragons are just as cool, and they dont grow as large. A more expensive alternative would be the bearded dragon. They're like 100 bucks including cage decor, and you wont have to buy another cage. They eat crickets mostly, which is no big deal honestly.

Iguanas cost alot more with cage decorations, you need to buy a ton of stuff. They need at least like 3 heights to go to, so logs and stuff are a necessity.

Well, I would say bearded dragon is a great choice, although theyre more expensive and non veg.

Water dragons are REALLY cool though. Make sure you think they look cool when they get older, cuz alot of people think they look like cariciatures of iguanas.

  5. Well at my local pet shop a baby iguana is $25 and your tank is good now, but they do get big if your prepared for that.  They eat all and only veggies

we got ours when he was just a little baby(about 6 inces with tail), now hes a big guy(prob about 2 21/2 feet long) and still growing, had him for about 2 years now. maybe 2 1/2

I also have a bearded dragon. LOVE HIM! He as a baby cost$50, he was a tiny thing, but you do need to include crickets in his meal, he can eat greens, i do a little bit of greens and a little bit of the allready gutfilled dead crickets.  The live ones are just to annoying to take care off.

Geckos are pretty easy to care for I here to, I have personally never owned one though.

Well with anything you choose GOOD LUCK!

  6. i would get a bearded dragon

  7. Get a uromastyx it fits your disciption 38.00 from your local pet store eats mainly prepared vegetables mod experience too. And your vivarium is more than enough space it should be enough for two good luck I am a breeder of about 8 diffrent types of lizards

  8. Leopard geckos arent mean....wth?

AND they dont eat veggies you asked for something that eats veggies..

A uromastyx would probably be best for you they eat mainly veggies fruits and seed...but sometimes also need meat like crickets or worms....but not very often at all....

They do require high temps and very low humidity...you wouldnt even keep a water bowl in the tank... they rarely get over 7 or 8 inches and have great personalities.

Any other questions about them or any other lizard let me know
