Choosing a new last name for myself, what is your suggestion?

I am deleting my middle name and changing my last name for personal reasons. My first name is Shannon, any suggestions for a last name that would go with it? I am leaning towards:

1Shannon Ireland

2Shannon Lee

3Shannon Ohara (not keen on an ' in my name tho)

Any suggestions/comments would be great.

It depends on what you want to be regarded as when people hear your name...

If you want to sound Hispanic, go with Shannon Rodriguez

If you want to sound Chinese,  go with Shannon Lee.

If you want to sound like an African- American why not try Shannon Obama?

hehe... just kidding about the last one... but honestly, it doesn't sound bad...

I think it depends on what race you would want to sound like. If you would be given the chance to choose in what race would you want to be, what would it be? And research in the internet  about the common surnames of that race. That's my suggestion to you...

You may take my surname if you like... It's Uy (pronounced as "ooy" as in "food") I'm a Filipino but Chinese by blood. Some people doesn't know how to pronounce it but I think that's what makes my surname cool! :)
