Choosing a pet (Hedgehog/chinchilla) ...help please!?

Question

My friend wants to get a pet, and she currently is trying to decide between a hedgehog & a chinchilla, though she's leaning towards a hedgehog.

I want to know if anybody owns one of these animals and/or could tell me about them? Which would be a better pet?

it depends, if the hedgehog is a baby,then get it :D. i would rather buy a kitten

Chinchilla if you get a nice tame one they can be a lot of fun.

Hedgehogs are really cool if you get the right one.  Problem is many of them are so scared all the time that theyre not much fun.  They get better the more you handle them but if your friend doesnt plan on handling the animal every day it might get to where it just balls up every time he tries to touch it.  So it's a great pet if you pick a bold individual and play with it alot.  Not so much if you choose one that stays balled up all the time and hisses at you.

If she likes energy then get a chinchilla i had one that loved me never had a hedgehog but i think theyre  kind of lazy

Both make nice pets.

I've owned a chinchilla, and she was a really sweet little pet.  Very soft and nice to pet.  I've been around hedgehogs, and they can be nice, but they don't care to be handled as much.  And they are kinda' prickley.

Get A hedgehop my friend has one and she just loves it she find its really easy to clean up after too and there really cute !!
