  1. Make sure and match the shaft up with your putting stroke.  For example, if you have an inside to spuare to inside stroke,...then a center shafted putter is something to stay away from in that you will tend to pull a lot of putts.  Make sure and got to a local pro and get fitted.  As far as the head,...that is all about individual preference.

Myself, I am somewhat partial to the ping anser 2 putters but am currently going to make the switch to the odyssey 2 ball xg blade.

  2. go to your closest .major outlet . know they can fit you for putter lie , proper length , grip size . you could save a lot of money by having your white hot custom fit . another suggestion . find a used putter , it seems your cofidence white hot gone . have the used putter custom fit , save ton of money , or visit my basement , wedges ,putters galore . if you are using standard size grip for cross handed , try oversized grip , cross handed difficult with normal grip . good luck .

  3. The feel of the putter, its grip and swing weight are the things to look for in a putter. Price means nothing. You can go to a thrift shop and in the back there usually is a barrel full of clubs, many of them putters, all makes very few wooden shafts, . You can get the best feeling club for less than $10.  Many pro shops and golf shops have a variety of putters for sale. Find one that feels best to you.

  4. Hang on a minute - I doubt it is the bows and arrows.  Since you putt crosshanded it tells me something about your ability to putt in the traditional style (right hand low).  And now long putts are a problem because you are putting cross handed?  No - you need to work on your putting and not just think that spending money on a new putter is going to make you better.

  5. You will probably need to demo several different models.  Have you considered going to a mallet/oversize (i.e. Odyssey 2-ball), or do you want to stick with a traditional look?

You need to try different lengths, styles, and lies to find one that fits properly.

  6. try Nike

  7. go with a heavier putter theyre more accurate at long range putts
