Choppy video for linux?

Question

when i try to play a game on linux the video gets really choppy and eventually crashes.

anybody know what i can do?

I have had that problem also. You probably need to install the correct graphics drivers. Linux has a default set of drivers that are meant to work with any video card, but they don't work well with 3D stuff.
