  1. Sweep and mop the floors (not necessarily the whole house)

    Wash the dishes

    Set the table

    Dust

    Do laundry, Etc.

  2. Well, obviously that depends on what your parents are willing to pay you for. I personally think that keeping your own room clean and doing simple chores around the house (depending on your age) should not be paid for. In other words, if you have a pet, you should not be paid to take care of it. It's your responsibility. You could suggest to your folks baby-sitting your younger siblings, dusting and vacuuming, washing dishes, doing laundry and ironing, or yard work. You don't state your age, but I was mowing lawns for neighbors and baby-sitting by the age of 10. Maybe the neighbors need their dogs walked or their driveways and sidewalks swept or shoveled. BE BOLD! Take a chance and do the chore first, then go to the door and tell your neighbor, "Hey, I raked your lawn and bagged your leaves. If you need it done again, here's my phone number." Chances are, they'll pay you something right then. If they don't, all you've lost is a little time. Word will get around that you're a hard working kid looking to make a buck. Before you know it, (if you do a good job), you'll have more work than you can handle! Good luck!!!
