  1. Stay in band.

  2. Well if singing is your passion then you should stay in chorus.  I personally would stay in band though.  Not only because music is my passion but because in band you make some of the best friends that you will ever have.  If someone makes fun of you just think! You have so many people that will defend you.   And just so you know band does involve singing a little.  But do which ever you would prefer to stay in.

  3. YES! I know what you mean. I have the same problem... only I'm not your age. don't you mean electives? anyways...

I would go with chorus. I got to be in both in middle school and I was always wishing I could quit band... even though I was first chair flute. So also.. if you aren't a very good singer... go with band, singing can't be improved as easily as an instrument.

  4. some districts give P.E. credit for marching band, does yours? this may be helpful in deciding,....

  5. I had this problem when i was a freshman in High School. I quit band after my freshman year and was in Choir for my sophomore junior and Senior year or maybe i was in choir my Jr. And Senior year. I can't remember. I quit band because i didn't like it during marching season. I wasn't that good in it. I only liked concert season. So anyway I would say only you will probably know what is right for you in the end.

  6. Go where you're passion leads you. If your folks don't approve, let them know how strongly you feel about singing.
