for country contempomi for club o gara, o gara is better at kicking contepomi is better at running and taking on people with ball in hand.

contempomi of course.  O'Gara wouldn't make it into hardly any international team.  can't handle the pressure and lets not talk about his kicking game.  Another steve jones.  No as a welsh man I would have contempomi any day of the weak and I can't say that about O'Gara

contepomi (while experienced and very good with ball in hand) could not match the power,style or speed of ronan o gara`s kicking.contepomi is quick and clever on the other hand.So, it depends on what type of player your looking for really.

in my opinion i would choose ronan o gara.

Im a Leinster man through and through but ROG is more talented in his position. No question Felipe is better at all other positions, but when it comes down to the better Fly-Half (or Out-Half if you dont know what I mean) ITs Defo ROG. But come on Leinster for the Heino

Contepomi.

He's just better and he showed it at the last world cup, especially against Ireland. O'gara didn't do shite against Argentina, he just sinked like the rest of the irish team, destroyed by the strength of the Pumas.

Contempomi  as he is all roundly better than ogara. In play hes always there to support and usually makes good choices as a fly half. His kicking quality although a few go astray at times. Ogara`s loosing his flair that he once had no disrepect his still a class player just many number 10`s are better than in in all round play

to start with contempomi combins better with o'driscoll when he is playing for leinster than o gara does when he is playing for ireland.. contempomi is a much better line breaker and is a more physical ball carrier than o gara. which means he is more durable. his goal kicking and tactical kicking is on par with o'gara and at times better than his. he is a much better thinker on his feet and has an eye for detail when he is playing at 10. the fact that he can play at 12 as well means he knows exactly where to put a ball for a 12 to hit the gap caorrectly and where his lines should be when he is playig at 12. a huge advantage over o gara. and besides if they ever clashed on the park i know where my money would be.

O Gara, without a doubt, firstly he plays for munster so he is a total legend... and he is just a better player overall, just look at the way he handles the ball...fab!

Ronan O'Gara! altough hes an a*****e by all respects! and he did get hammered by Contempomi in the world cup but that was because ROG was out gambling most nights and he should not have been doing that! but 2 years ago in the Heineken Cup when both player were at the top of their games ROG hammered Felipe! Contemponi must even had the slight advantage just after beating Toulouse off the pitch at Le Stadium in france and Leinster were on their home pitch! And ROG still played him off the pitch!

It depends on who you play but I would rather choose O'Gara in first five and Contempomi in second five. Contempomi is also good at first five, although he brings out a lot of second five style whilst playing in first five.

Being from Munster I'd have to say ROG.Undoubtedly he's one of the best fly-half's in the world and his record shows it as he's one of the best point scorers in most of the competitions.He rarely misses.

Contempomi isn't great under pressure, that's his biggest flaw.Other than that, great player.
