Chosen Character confident to conquer Haydock again
Much to the surprise of many sport fans, Chosen Character picked up some miraculous momentum with the dawn of July 2012. Starting from Haydock, he registered three epic triumphs in a row and moved on to make marks in the preceding months as well. At the
moment, the Tom Dascombe trained bay gelding is drenched with form that will lead him to bring home the glorious title of Frank And Tom Fitzgerald Handicap, scheduled to be run at Haydock on September 28.
Cherishing the pleasant memories of his last Haydock trip, the four-year-old veteran horse is keen to conquer this playfield once again. To get this end, he will have to surpass nine mighty competitors. The 1-mile racecourse has heavy surface that is going
to be quite a new experience for him.
Some analysts opine that Chosen Character will not feel comfortable in this condition, but Dascombe is not ready to endorse this notion as he has prepared his pupil well for every sort of challenges.
Hopefully, the veteran Irish horse will run with the favourite tag. Natasha Eaton, who was on his back in the last Haydock race, is going to ride him again.
On July 20, Chosen Character performed exceptionally well to beat the hot favourite rival, Hayek, in the Betdaq Haydock Park Apprentice Training Series Handicap (Part of The Racing Excellence Initiative). That was his third Haydock tour. Remember, he started
his career from this venue.
After that convincing victory, the brilliant gelding elegantly bagged the title of the Totepool Mobile Text Tote To 89660 Handicap at Ayr. He beautifully completed his hat-trick by beating a dozen of rivals in the Brewin Dolphin Cardiff Office Handicap.
After a couple of runner-up ranks and a fourth position, the Moyglare Stud Farm Ltd bred horse again accomplished a grand victory in the Free Bet At corbettsports.com Handicap.
What an awesome record! At the moment, most of the punters are taking him as a commercial icon, hoping that the enthusiastic runner will multiply the money they stake on him.
So, let us turn to Haydock to watch the way Chosen Character lives up to all these expectations.
