Chosing the appeearence of childrens???

i need some help with my homework, i have to write a composition about how would it be if everyone could choose their children's appearance, and how would the human race change??

I think it is unright for the fact that there is nothin more beautiful then God's view of perfection that is put into people. When having a child it should be the love that develops that being and not unnatural substances!

only the appearance?

there would be no more physical defects, deformed faces, missing limbs... no more big noses, big ears, no big birthmarks, moles

people would start to have very similar features, there would no longer be things such as 'beautiful' or 'ugly'...  the beauty industry would go bankrupt

eventually humans would probably be screwed because maybe one of those things we weeded out were a genetic variation that would have helped us survive

Having children would belike ordering a hamburger. The child has what you want on it and lacks what you do not want it to have. People would look pretty but would be heartless, materialistic, and unknowledgeable. They might kill or start wars to be the best, they would waste thousands on cosmetics and what-not to look beautiful, and would only study on how to look even vetter. Everyone would be shallow.
