For spanish class, I have to make chouros. Me and my mom made them tonight [since they r due 2mor0] and I don't think i did it right. They are little balls instead of long pipes which the Teacher said that's fine but they are really hard on the outside, and kind of mushy in the middle. What are they supposed 2 taste like? 2mor0 is the last day of spanish and it's 100% of my grade. HELP ASAP!!! =[]

  1. CHURROS: they taste like a crispy cinnamon cruller doughnut.

Sweetie, you tried your best!  That's great but here's a great recipe for the future:

  2. make bunuelos instead....they are the same thing only flat.

    Steps for Bunuelo's:

    1. Can of biscuits

    2. Flatten biscuits into a flat tortilla shape

    3. Poke with a few holes to prevent bubbling

    4. Deep dry in vegetable oil and flip until light brown

    5. Dredge fried dough in cinnamon and sugar mixture

    6. Allow to cool

My family owns a mexican taqueria and this is how we make ours its super fast and easy. It's the same thing as a churro...good luck!!!

  3. its spelled chourros  glad i could help oh and if you cant spell a word then go to google and type it in as best u can then it will correct it for you kay  thats what i do

  4. You've never eated a churro?  You poor thing.  They are usually a tiny bit crunchy on the outside, but not much, and more chewy on the inside, sugar and cinnamon on top and seriously delicious.
