Chris Bosh is in good spirits reveals Dwyane Wade – NBA Playoff Update
Miami Heat power forward Chris Bosh, who went down due to an abdominal strain in Game 1 victory over the Indiana Pacers, is being badly missed by the men from the South Beach. Even though Bosh had been much of a facilitator to
the duo of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James this season and the one before it, but such was his presence, that him being absent from the lineup has resulted in two big time losses for the Heat.
Bosh has been the only hope for the heat down low in the post throughout the season and the worst part about his injury is that there was no steady expected date set for his return. Wade however recently indicated that the rehabilitation
process is going in the positive direction.
“(Monday), Chris was in the locker room with everyone early in the morning,” Dwyane Wade said. “He’s been around, and he’s starting his rehab process to get back on the court eventually. He’s doing good mentally, and he obviously
wants to be playing. It sucks it came at this time. The biggest thing is there is a light at the end of the tunnel; there’s a possibility he can come back. So that drives you.”
Bosh is currently not travelling with the team and has opted to continue with the recovery process while resting in South Florida. His presence has been fairly missed by the Miami team; they were outrebounded by the Pacers 58-42
in Game 3 clearly depicting the struggles on the glass for this under-sized Heat unit.
Many who did not consider Bosh to be worthy of being spoken of in the same tense as James and Wade might want to reconsider their opinions. Bosh may not have been an explosive scorer with the Heat in his two years as he only averaged
18 points per game this season, a fairly low total in comparison to James and Wade`s numbers, however the small things which he did on both ends of the floor are certainly being missed by this undermanned Miami team.
The situation is only going to be worse come Sunday night, because the Pacers now have a big weakness to exploit and if Heat are to have some hope of tying the series before returning to Miami, they will their back up bigs to step
up.
