Chris Bosh to join Dwyane Wade and Miami Heat

According to reports, free agent power forward Chris Bosh will join Dwyane Wade in Miami.

ESPN’s Chris Broussard first broke the story, citing a person with knowledge of the situation.
Seemingly the report also confirms Wade is staying in Miami after stating Bosh is signing with Miami to play with Wade.

Both are expected to announce their decisions later today.

Details of the signing were not disclosed and it is unclear whether Bosh is signing via a sign-and-trade or whether it is an outright free agent signing. If the latter is the case Bosh would receive a five-year $96 million deal. If he was to join the Heat via a sign-and-trade Bosh would be eligible for a six-year $125 million contract.

Any deal signed won’t be made official until July 8.
