http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 can win over youthful Australia – Cricket News Update
New Zealand’s former star all-rounder, Chris Cairns, has predicted that his national team has a golden chance to win a Test series over an inexperienced and injury-hit Australia for the first time since 1985.
Cairns claims that the Aussies seem to be much fragile at the moment, as they lack experience in the camp. According to him, the Kangaroo selectors have taken a huge risk by launching three uncapped players in the 2-Test home series, starting from December
1, 2011.

Cairns believes that the Black Caps are in a favourable position because of the presence of some veteran players, coupled with a bunch of talented and tried youngsters in the line-up.
Talking to the media today, ex-cricketer said, “Since 85 when Hadlee took nine-for … we had a draw in 2001, but other than that it’s almost been just about trying to get a game to go three or four days, which we’ve struggled to do. This New Zealand side
is not overawed. They shouldn’t be because this attack http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 has at the moment is very inexperienced.”
Cairns has also backed the Kiwi skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/JD-Ryder-c1679, to capitalise on the ideal opportunity and register some magnificent batting knocks in their careers.
He told, “It’s time now for McCullum, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915, Ryder to move into being excellent Test players. “Going from being very good, which they are, into excellence. New Zealand’s just got to weather it for a little bit and then put the pressure on them.”
The third highest wicket taker of the New Zealand cricket history is of the view that the rock-solid Kiwi side may have some sort of psychological pressure on the Oz team.
From 1989 to 2006, Cairns played 62 Test and 215 ODI matches. He remained impressive with both bat and ball throughout his international career. He had 218 Test and 201 ODI wickets coupled with 3320 and 4950 runs respectively.
