Tempe PD: 3 fight for life after 91-year-old hits police car.

Three people are fighting for their lives, including a police officer, after a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Tempe on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, a 91-year-old man was traveling north on Rural around 2:45 p.m. when he broadsided an undercover police car occupied by a 35-year-old officer and 55-year-old woman.

I'm sorry but this is another example of old people shouldn't drive. A couple of months ago in Mesa we had a 94 year old woman had mistaken the gas pedal for the brake and drove into a restaurant. Thank God no one was killed. Las Vegas got nothing on how bad our driver are here in the Valley of the Sun. That's saying something considering that they don't paint the street lanes in Vegas from what I remembered just used reflectors instead.

Note: Sorry LITY!!! I believe that people over 65 must take a driving test every 6 months until 70 then at every 4 months and at 75 every month.

Chelios will retire when one of his grand kids gets drafted in the Entry Draft.

Howler. Where both you and I live. That kind of thing happens almost on a daily basis. In Florida  you really take your life in your hands a lot with the elderly, punks and boat people all on the road.  All people should take a drivers test every so often. Down here the gray panthers will not let them pass that law. WE have been trying for years

Chelios will retire at 50 in my opinion.
