The Wales manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Coleman has revealed he believes James Collins has a future with the national team despite leaving out the defender from the team set to take on Mexico this month.
The 28-year-old will sit out the end of the season friendly against Mexico despite being a key player for the team over the last eight years. Unfortunately for him, he lost his place in the starting XI during the latter half of Gary Speed’s reign.
Darcy Blake and Ashley Williams’ were the preferred partnership in central defence, with Collins being left out of the team entirely. His exclusion from the team comes just a week after a disciplinary issue involving him and another Aston Villa teammate
after the club’s award ceremony.
However, Coleman denied the rift at the nightclub was the reason to leave Collins out of the squad. According to the manager he was giving Collins, Gabbidon and Earnshaw time to rest over the summer so they could return to the squad refreshed.
Coleman said in an interview:

They haven't done anything wrong there. James has had a long hard season, he has had a few niggles.”
He claimed they were far too experienced for him to leave them out of the squad in the future games. According to Coleman the clash against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mexico-c2956 was the exception since he needed time to evaluate the player’s futures and determine just how much of a role
they would play for the team.
He continued:
“It's not me burning bridges with these experienced players. On the contrary they are very much part of our make-up and squad going forward.”

He added:
“I've included him in my squad. I wouldn't have included him if I didn't think he wanted to continue with us.
If Craig wants to make a statement about what he intends to do maybe that will quash all the rumours.”
