Chris Higgins comes up with an appreciable performance in the second game against San Jose Sharks

Chris Higgins is one name in the National Hockey League that appears in the news normally for a reason of trade.
At least this has been the case for the last two years during which he has been seen playing for four different teams.
However, he was brought to Vancouver Canucks on the recent trade deadline and it looked as if fortunes for this player might change. Many predicted that he would surely finally settle into a team and the level of energy that he has is certainly the right
amount that Canucks is looking for.
While spending time with New York Rangers, Higgins was unable to bring out the performances that he was capable of so he was considered as one of the underperforming players in the league.
Therefore, he was traded to Calgary Flames. The same problem continued there too so he was sent to Florida Panthers and then finally came to Vancouver Canucks.
He was brilliant during the playoffs so far for Canucks and has bagged some impressive performances.
The second game of the Western Conference Finals’ series was no different and reflects the level of talent and capability that Higgins has. Higgins scored a total of three points in the game with two assists and a goal to his name.
He assisted Kevin Bieksa to put Canucks in the lead and score the lone goal of the second period.
He continued to dominate the game and scored the opening goal in the third period during a power-play to put Canucks in the driving seat.
Later on in the period, he assisted Mason Raymond who scored the seventh goal of the game for Canucks to seal the deal.
The winger has done pretty well while playing for Canucks. He has scored a total of eight points in 15 games that he has played so far and he is getting better with every other game.
Playing alongside players like Raymond and Ryan Kesler has certainly helped him a lot and he is bound to get even better as he spends more time with the team and the players.
From the looks of it, Canucks had definitely done its homework as it wants to finish the series as soon as possible.
“It's been fun. It's a good team to play with -- a lot of skill and a lot of hard work. I'm just enjoying the ride right now”, Higgins said.
Vancouver Canucks is performing very well at the moment and it will be looking to continue the same level of performances in the next games and finish off with a clean sweep performance to book a place in the Stanley Cup Finals.
