Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has stated that he is in no hurry to sign players.
The former Newcastle boss arrived at Carrow Road earlier this summer, having already signed two new players and successfully securing the services of club captain and striker Grant Holt on a three-year contract extension.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Hughton was released by Newcastle United in a shock move last season, having helped them to the Coco-Cola Championship and getting the team a Premier League promotion. His dismissal was met with surprise and puzzlement, with many ex footballers and
pundits slating the Newcastle United board for their decision.
Hughton is a popular and likeable man in football, and his arrival at Carrow Road was met with positivity and a warm welcome.
At a busy press conference on Tuesday afternoon, the Canaries unveiled two new signings and announced the contract extension of Grant Holt. Jacob Butterfield arrived from Championship side Barnsley on a four-year deal.
The promising midfielder had an impressive season with his former team, having played 100 games for the side and scored eight goals for them last season. This led to his inclusion in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 Under-21 football squad.

The manager has said that he will bide his time and will not rush into signing new players.
"I have in my mind some areas where I'd like a bit more competition but that will be developed over a period of time," Hughton told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"We are looking, and making efforts, to have as strong a squad as we can to compete [in the Premier League]."
Hughton is confident of the players he has signed so far, and had this to say about them:
"I've seen Jacob play in probably three different positions, so he does have that in his game, and he's a player that likes to get on the ball.”
"There was competition and we are delighted to have nicked in front of anyone else that might have wanted to acquire his services"
