Chris Jennings, Ed Nicklin of Burghfield Sailing Club win 2011 RS400 Inland Championship at Grafham Water SC
After some thrilling performances at the 2011 RS400 Inland Championship which was hosted at the Grafham Water Sailing Club, Chris Jennings and Ed Nicklin of Burghfield Sailing Club were able to hold the title with 8 points after six races along with one
discard.
The pair showed some excellent sailing skills on the final day of the inland championships to clinch the overall victory.

The weather conditions on the final day at Grafham Water Sailing Club were superb and ideal for a complete sail, as the breeze blew over the racing area up to 20 knots south westerly. Along with some shifty gusts, the forecast made it possible for the RS400
fleet to complete the scheduled races on the final day.
With two race wins, Jennings and Nicklin made their way straight up to the top mark with 8 points. On the other hand, Paul Allen and Caroline Exley of Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club grabbed only one race win to hit the second spot with 12 points. James Downer
and Jono Price of Royal Victoria ended at third spot after a 15 points score.
