Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio beat Sheamus and Randy Orton – WWE News
Chris Jericho has shifted his focus from CM Punk’s WWE Championship to Sheamus’ World Heavyweight title. On Monday Night Raw SuperShow, the ‘best in the world’ joined hands with the Mexican pride Alberto Del Rio to beat Sheamus and Randy Orton.
The match was initially being dominated by Orton, who then fell into Alberto’s trap. By the mid of the match, both fighters were on the canvas, crawling to their ring partners for tags. Orton tagged Sheamus and Alberto tagged Jericho to the ring. Sheamus
came hard in the ring beating Chris Jericho severely until Alberto came into the ring to interrupt. With Alberto’s interruption, Orton was prompted to take his share as well and he too entered the ring. By this time, the tag team match turned into a brawl
with all four fighters fighting at the same time. Orton threw Alberto out of the ring, but as soon as he turned he got a big boot from Sheamus right on his face which was intended for Chris Jericho.
Y2J took utmost advantage of the situation and delivered a Code Breaker to Sheamus and pinned him. Y2J and Alberto Del Rio took the victory. After being announced the winner, Y2J lifted up Sheamus’ belt saying it deserves to be with him. Realizing he had
made a mess, Sheamus tried to make it up to the Orton but delivered him an RKO.
After the fight, we saw Jericho and Alberto Rio behind the stage in John Laurinaitis’ room. Chris Jericho was insisting Laurinaitis to give him a title match since he proved his mettle just moments ago. Just when they both were talking, Orton and Sheamus
attacked them brutally. The whole scenario got messed up and Sheamus again tried to convince Orton that the big boot was just an accident but Orton did not pay any heed to his explanations and walked away.
For now, Chris Jericho and Alberto Del Rio have proved they are better than Sheamus and Orton. Probably, there will be a triple threat match between Jericho, Alberto and Orton to decide which man deserves a title shot at Over the Limit.
