Chris Jericho slams CM Punk on Monday Night Raw SuperShow – WWE News
We have seen the worst of Jericho before but this time it seems like he has just crossed the line, at least for CM Punk. Monday Night Raw’s SuperShow opened with Punk shouting on Chris Jericho for revealing his father’s alcoholism issue in front of the fans.
Punk was furious and it was on his face. He was red and he would have beaten the h**l out of Jericho, had the Y2J stepped in the ring before him.
However, as we know, Y2J has always been among the shrewdest players of all time. He does not want to give Punk to try him out, instead he wants to keep Punk under pressure and that is what he did. Punk was in the ring telling the fans that Jericho has crossed
the line. Punk even explained his fans the seriousness of the issue and that Jericho cannot understand it. He even called Jericho ‘Pathetic’ and called him out to face him.
What happened moments later was something neither Punk nor his fans expected. Instead of accepting Punk’s challenge and coming out to the ring, Y2J appeared on the screen showing cold shoulders to Punk’s challenge. Now, by this time things seemed to get
normal but Jericho, who does not want Punk to feel normal, came up saying that not only Punk’s father, even his sister suffers from substance-abuse issues. This was something that irked Punk big time and Punk screamed to Jericho and told him to shut up. Did
Jericho do it? Not really. Jericho went on and on and Punk kept getting annoyed.
After Jericho was done, Punk sworn that he will prove Jericho a liar by beating him brutally at the final showdown on WrestleMania 28.
Whatever happened was surprising for the fans as well as Punk. Probably this was Jericho’s mind-trick to keep Punk agitated for the match. He does not want his opponent to be at and give him the opportunity to prepare well. That is the way Jericho plays
along the lines and probably all Jericholics know this. For now, all we can say is that Punk is out of control and he cannot wait to get his hands on Y2J.
