The Highveld Lions' all-rounder, who was yesterday called up into South Africa’s T20 squad for next month’s unofficial tri-series in Zimbabwe, has said that it was a surprise call for him.

The rookie Lions' all-rounder just completed his first full season and his inclusion in the national squad was an equal surprise for others as well.

in the first-class competition, Morris proved to be a crucial batsman as well, scoring two half-tons.
With 21 scalps in his bag, the medium pacer was the leading wicket-taker of the 2011-12 MiWay T20 competition. It was his impressive performance in the competition which earned him selectors’ nod for the Zimbabwe tour.
