Chris Paul, Jamal Crawford and LeBron James - Top scorers from April 24th NBA playoff games
Paul knocks down the Lakers
Chris Paul knocked the Los Angeles Lakers down by clinching his first triple-double of the year. The player jolted the two times NBA defending champions and tied the best of seven playoff series, 2-2. Paul baffled the Lakers throughout
the night and finished with 27 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds in 43 plus minutes of action. In an aggressive performance, the prolific swingman notched a perfect 11-of-11 free throws in the win.
It is never easy to fend off the two times NBA champions but Paul did it style, leading his team to an impressive 93-88 victory.
Ariza’s execution of the Lakers

Although Trevor Ariza is not much of a show stealer but on Sunday night the Hornets forward had a major role in New Orleans assault of the Lakers. The Hornets forward went 8-of-12 from the floor in the opening half of the game
to set the tone. This resulted in giving the Hornets a major lift over the Lakers. The player finished with 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists in 41 plus minutes of action.
Crawford holding off the Magic
On Sunday night, Jamal Crawford was the driving force behind Atlanta Hawks’ flight. The player was the major executioner in Atlanta’s invasion over the Orlando Magic. He scored a team high 25 points while finishing on an impressive
10-for-18 shooting from the field. Not only that but the player also pinned 3-of-6 three-pointers, more than combined three’s hit by the opposite team. He also pulled off six assists for teammates, becoming the base to push the Hawks up.
He had the opposition mesmerized. Stan Van Gundy, Orlando’s coach who later expressed this by saying, "We've tried a lot of guys on him so far and no one has been able to guard him yet. Our perimeter guys are being chewed up by
him and their guards so far."
James’ encouraging performance
In game-4 of the seven game series against the Philadelphia 76ers, LeBron James one again led the Miami Heat. Although the Heat lost the plot in the final minute of play and conceded the game to the Sixers, the two times reigning
MVP dominated the floor for more than 43 minutes. Not only did he scorch the Sixers with 31 points, seven rebounds and six assists he also executed 11-of-20 shots. He also pinned 9-of-11 free throws from the charity stripe.
Rondo riding offence
Rajon Rondo was the main element of offence as the Boston Celtics swept the New York Knicks out of the playoffs. Rondo scored 21 points and dished out 12 assists while playing an unselfish game. His game was also highlighted by
five rebounds that bruised the Knicks further. The point guard took on the burden on his shoulders and provided the final in the best-of-seven series, becoming a hero once again.
