Chris Paul, the New Orleans Hornets and their future – NBA Special
The New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul has been a great reliever for his franchise for over five years now and is still playing with great energy. He is certainly a tremendous player, who is not only leading his team to
persistence performances, but he is also helping the Hornets to retain a consistence spot as an elite force in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Paul, who was drafted by the Hornetshas over the years established himself as one of the premier point guards in the league. With well over five years of experience in the biggest league in the world, he has developed himself as
perfect player, who can guard, and at the same time score points at extreme pace.
Many, who have watched him during this year’s playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers, can tell the real truth about his huge talent and phenomenal basketball skills. Those people who were present at the playoffs along with many
basketball experts stated with great brief about Paul’s basketball skills with great admiration.
Chris Paul was unstoppable against the Lakers while some of the Lakers stars also acknowledged his game. But, his excellent speed, strength and extra quickness on the court were all went in vain when the rest of the Hornets could
not play up-to their potential and lost bitterly to the Lakers in the very first round of playoffs.
Many basketball pundits, who have been busy researching and writing different articles on the NBA player, agree on one fact when they called Chris Paul one of the best points guard in the league. His game has always been compared
to the very best of the league players and especially with superstars of the league. The last years’ Most Valuable Player (MVP) Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls and New Jersey Nets Deron Williams are the most appreciated players in the past season, but
among many Chris Paul still leads them on different grounds.
The reason why many basketball experts distinguished Chris Paul from Derrick Rose and Williams as they both belong to a very balanced roster in the league, but on the other hand, Chris Paul is very much alone in the Hornets roster.
The rest of the Hornets roster is not much alike him and many are underperformers.
No one in the Hornets side has so much potential as Paul possesses. The Hornets management is also aware of this fact and taking some extreme measures in this offseason to bring some more fire power into their roster and most importantly
to give some support to Chris Paul who is all alone in one-end and playing like a superman. Without Paul, the Hornets certainly cannot show any good results in the future seasons and the Hornets management should take some drastic steps forward to develop
a player-balance team.
