I have 3 QB's, McNabb, Warner, and Kitna. I only have 4 RBs, LT, Maurice Jones-Drew, E.Graham, and C. Taylor.

My question is should I drop Kitna and pick up Chris Perry since he now has the starting job?

Would this make my team stronger? Please any advice is welcome

  1. yes it would, any starting RB is an asset to your team.  According to rotoworld.com Perry is going to be an every down back also.  I just read it last night.  Kitna wont be starting for you every week, but Perry could help you out.  I would drop Kitna.  Its weird becaues my 2 qbs are Mcnabb and Warner on my team too.  Here is what rotoworld says:

    "

Asked Saturday if Chris Perry is "his guy" at running back now, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis responded "Obviously that's where we are."

Lewis indicated that Perry will be a three-down back. "We have felt very comfortable keeping him in there on third down, so I think he'll log more playing time than anyone we've had back there for a while," Lewis said. "He's never had that opportunity, so this is his chance." The odds are against Perry staying healthy for long."

  2. I'd be more than a little nervous about having just McNabb and Warner as my two QBs.  Both are older QBs with a history of injury (McNabb - three of last six seasons - unavailable for fantasy playoffs due to injury) (Warner - four of last six seasons - unavailable for fantasy playoffs due to injury) (And Kitna played in all 32 games for the Lions the last two seasons while totally under seige so he's a tough guy).  You'd also be dropping the QB of the 9th ranked passing offense for the RB of the 24th ranked rushing offense from last year.  I don't advise the move you're proposing.

  3. I see where you're coming from, and it makes sense.  It's always good to have RB depth and two QB should be enough for any team.  I just think that you should try to get something for Kitna...b/c you should be able to. I guarantee that there are multiple teams in you league with weak QBs.  If you drop him, someone will gobble him up right away as he is a good fantasy player.

Either trade him straight up for someone else or you could always package him with another player and get a more dependable RB than Perry (or a WR).  I have Perry on my team (I actually drafted him), and even though Rudi is gone I see a RBBC situation with Watson.  In addition, the Bungles aren't looking as good as they have in the past.

To recap: trade Kitna and improve your RBs (or WRs) and/or pick up Perry.  Don't just drop him.

    Good Luck!

  4. Do it!  You don't need 3 QBs on your team, unless the league plays more than one QB per week.  Other than that, Perry would definitely improve your team vs having an extra QB on the bench (especially Kitna)

  5. If you only play one qb a week then do it. If u play 2 qb a week then you need to keep a backup. As far as Perry, he is started now and is definently worth having. I think he will have an ok season and probably be more valuable then c.taylor(unless Ap gets hurt)
