Chris Samba on verge of leaving Blackburn Rovers
In a shock revelation, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christopher-Samba-c9212 has expressed his desire to quit his current club. This sudden decision came as a result of his disappointment with the club owners for sacking manager, Sam Allardyce.
Indian food billionaires Venky’s, took over the club a month ago and handed Sam Allardyce his marching orders. This has angered the twenty-six year old center back, who now wants to leave the club altogether.
Blackburn, currently remain under the charge of reserve manager Steve Kean, as the owners still look for a long term successor. It came as a shock to one and all, when Sam was shown the exit door and Samba now looks for a move away from the club.
Samba stated, "If this is the way the club's going to be run from now on, I don't want to be part of it and I want to leave. As captain it's very difficult to say this but I've thought long and hard about it. Nobody in football understands the decision to sack Sam”.
Samba claimed that the services given by Allardyce towards the club last season were tremendous and it was a shame to see such a manager being sacked. The player also ruled out that club chairman, John Williams, had anything to do with the sacking, pointing the finger straight at the Indian owners.
The skipper went on to claim, "We could have been relegated last year and Sam saved the club, so how can he be treated like this now"?
Samba asked for answers on behalf of players and fans, of why Allardyce was really sacked. The club captain added that there is no chance of landing big name players in this winter transfer window without a permanent manager.
Samba is an exceptional centre back, who has a good impact towards Blackburn Rovers. The player doesn’t let much pass through his strongly built body and has a few set piece goals to his name as well. Should Samba decide to leave the club it would be a huge loss for Blackburn Rovers and the Indian owners wouldn’t want that to happen.
