They say every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Steve Kean, the new Blackburn boss, certainly didn't reserve his reaction against Christopher Samba's initial outburst; the defender expressed his desire to leave the club, following the shock sacking
of manager Sam Allardyce earlier this month.
That lead to Steve Kean taking the captain’s responsibilities from the Samba, stating that the player’s desire to the leave the club is “unacceptable”. The 26-year-old centre back was absent from last night 2-0 defeat to Stoke City owing to an ankle concern
but the manager confirmed that had the player played the match, he would have not been the captain.
"Christopher would have played but he wouldn't have been captain because at the moment he is looking to possibly get away from the club. Until he can come back and say he is happy to stay I think we'll look elsewhere in the club. He would have played but
he failed a fitness test today," claimed the Blackburn Boss.
Kean was jeered by the home crowd following Stoke’s impressive victory, as goals by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marc-Wilson-c23501 were enough to secure all the points for Stoke. It was Stoke’s first victory in three premier league fixtures. Kean has been appointed as the
manager till the end of the current situation and stated that he along with the players was just as disappointed as the home crowd.
"There has been upheaval at the club but I don't want to make excuses because that is not the way I am. I was disappointed with the goals we gave away. When you look at the personnel that we don't have available it is difficult to get that balance in the
middle. But that is no excuse because the lads put in there understood their roles," stated the coach.
Blackburn would be travelling to the Hawthorns to face an energetic West Bromwich Albion. Blackburn fans would be disgruntled should they lose to the newly promoted side. Steve Kean has a tough job on his hands as the players are demotivated since Allardyce’s
departure and would need to get things right this time.
