Chris Tremlett wants the selectors to show faith on him – Cricket News Update
Chris Tremlett, the England fast bowler, is set to revive his international career after a woeful injury and hopes that he will regain the confidence of selectors.
Tremlett last played for England earlier this year in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 before facing a back injury, which kept him out of competitive sport for almost four months. The lanky fast bowler has gone through a surgery and now he is
back playing domestic cricket in the country.
The 30-year-old had an impressive last year in international sport as he helped England become the number one ranked Test team of the world and also played a crucial role in the Ashes triumph in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746, in 2010-11.
Surrey’s fast bowler is of the opinion that international cricket is all about momentum and the selectors must show faith on him so that he can get back on the right track.
"If you're out of the game for a long time then people do seem to forget about you. It's important that I get the timing of this right and make sure that I get this injury right and get back to bowling the way I can do as quick as I can,” Tremlett expressed.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/G-Onions-c1449. It is nothing less than a mountain to climb for Tremlett to return to international cricket in the existence
of such quality bowlers.
However, the Hampshire-born cricketer is not thinking negatively and is focusing on the things which are under his control.
The fast bowler added, "It's a tricky situation to be in but in terms of getting back into the team I've got to control what I can control. But if I'm not back in the England side any time soon then who knows what's going to happen."
Tremlett has already taken 49 wickets in just 11 Tests and has made an impression at the international level with his pace and bounce. It remains to be seen that the English selectors have him in the scheme of things for the future or not.
