Chris Woakes fancies a rare English opportunity - Cricket News Update
Following his recall to the international team, English paceman Chris Woakes is eager to establish himself at the international level by performing well in the ongoing One Day International (ODI) series against Australia.
The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warwickshire-c862 cricketer is keen to make a comeback during the third ODI on his home ground at Edgbaston. "I'm desperate to take part," he said.

bat.
However, the English bowler acknowledges the opportunity as an unusual break for his fledgling career. "It's an opportunity. But if Jimmy's fit tomorrow, then obviously I won't play," the English player said.

"The weather here at Edgbaston hasn't been fantastic but we are hoping the groundstaff will clear things up and we'll get a full game in tomorrow.”
"We are 2-0 up and the idea is to win tomorrow and seal the series," added Woakes. "We are not looking any further ahead than that. Hopefully we can do that and put in a good performance for the crowd at Edgbaston," the 23-year-old concluded.
