  1. As bad as the QBs they have started are then the answer is obvious. He couldnt even beat one of them out, college ability very rarely translates to greatness in the NFL. He was a product of a system, one that has passed many Heisman hopefuls through but has not produced a solid NFL QB. Being an Ohio St. fan surely you watched as Smith slid way down the draft board, his inability to be accurate on his throws was the biggest factor, the same problem Leak had (along with not nearly as strong an arm as Smith). Want perfect proof of the importance of accuracy? Look no further than Pennington, guy can barely throw the ball across a street but he can read plays and hit the target at an incredible rate. Physical talent wise he should barely be an NFL backup but the ability to be excellent with the football is why he has been a starter for a very long time and will be again this year. The Bears simply dont want to pay big money for a solid QB, they acted foolish enough paying Urlacher and managed to completely p**s off most of the other great defensive players during contract times......they love the incompetence of Grossman and company!

  2. I am a Florida fan. He is not NFL material at all.He is weak and slow.

Great decision not to keep him.I knew he would not make it. Incidently UF crushed OSU with superior speed and defense.

  3. as a florida fan....i have no idea why they didnt use leak.he wasnt amazing but he was pretty solid at everything....the boy could run if he needed! and man did leak torch u guys in the 2006 bcs championship! 42 -14 wow have you gotten over that yet?...lol
