do you think chris osgood is a hall of fame goaltender with his current stats if not what do you think he needs to do to get there?

Right now he has 363 wins (currently 15th), 2.43 GAA and a .907 SV% along with 3 stanley cups, 2 William M Jennings trophies, 4 all star teams, Led NHL in GAA in 2008 (regular season 2.09 & playoffs 1.55)

  1. Yes I do.  I think Osgood is one of the most underrated players in the NHL.

  3. right now no. i think after his next 2 years with Detroit, and he passes the 400 win mark, then yes.

  4. After a few more solid seasons he will be.

  5. If he becomes a true starter that will help. Right now I think he is borderline. Sure he has good Stats, but who remembers him as a true starter? In 2007-08 he was a tandem goalie with Hasek, not a true starter. Have him playing about 60 games a year and show a solid season and his chances will go up.

  7. I asked this a while ago and got a variety of answers.  But that was in mid season.  My answer was yes and still is yes.

    I think if you just give the stats and age and years left he can still play people would say yes... but throw in the name Chris Osgood people have a hard time... they say he's the worst goalie ever to win a Cup (I disagree)

    But I say yea he's a hall of famer...
