Christchurch and Wellington Fetish Balls?

Question

Has anyone ever been to the Fetish Balls in Christchurch or Wellington. I know street clothes are not allowed but what are you expected to wear and do a lot of "non fetish" people attend. I have heard that it is a pretty awesome event.
