Eintracht Hombruch coach, Christian Drose, has heaped praise on Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder, Mario Gotze, saying that the teenager is an exceptional talent. He reckoned that Dortmund are the luckiest team on the planet to have such quality in
their ranks. Gotze’s former manager also tipped him a candidate for the highest goalscorer award this season.
Drose was talking after Germany’s 3-2 friendly win over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 where Mario scored his first international goal. The player also scored in Dortmund’s 3-1 win over Hamburg in the opening game of this year’s campaign last Friday. The 19-year-old impressed one
and all with his fine display last season and was considered the top transfer target for many elite sides.
However, Dortmund issued hands-off warnings to interested parties and did well to retain the youngster, who certainly has won praise from all around the globe.
Drose mentioned that Mario was irreplaceable during his Hombruch days and was one person who never required any guidance. He told that the young German is a god-gifted player who could do anything with his magic wand.
While talking to a local website, Hombruch’s manager enthused, "Mario was a player one could not really teach anything to, because he played football with an intuitive instinct. I cannot mention any weaknesses, I was super excited about him at that time.
“
Our group was very strong and some of the players joined Borussia Dortmund, but Mario played like no-one else could. I was already convinced he would go far, but the question of how far always depends on luck, but with Mario I had a very good feeling." He
concluded.
Drose also advised Gotze not to think about his future abroad as yet and concentrate on his current assignments. The manager believes that the player has all the qualities to develop into one of the best European footballers but needs more time before even
considering a move elsewhere. He also expressed his opinion that the German international won’t find a better club then Borussia Dortmund.
Gotze has a total of 39 league games to his name so far to go along with his seven goals. The player will next be in action against Hoffenheim on August 13.
