The 19-year-old revealed his ambitions for the upcoming season, expressing desire to improve all areas of his game whether it be goalscoring or providing
assists.

The young midfield ace is now eagerly waiting to start his second full season with the Amsterdammers. Eriksen has joined the training camp being held in Germany and started training with his teammates on Monday, July 11.
“I’ve been waiting all week for Monday to come. I was really looking forward to starting again. I have a great feeling because of my first championship with Ajax. We’re going to defend the title this year, and that’s a good challenge”, Eriksen stated on

stiffer for the 19-year-old.
The Dane, though, isn’t shying away from competition and wants to retain his regular starting place.
“Of course, there will be lots of competition at midfield. I can’t assume that I’ll be playing. It’s too easy for me to say that I’ve built up an advantage from last season”, Eriksen added.
The 19-year-old then went on to conclude by stating that his aim is to improve in all areas to become an integral part of the team.
“I want to improve in all areas this year. More goals, more assists, and becoming more important for the team. I’m going to take that step in my development”, the Danish midfielder concluded.
Ajax’s primary objective in the upcoming season would be to achieve European glory, which they have been longing for since their last triumph in 1995. After the acquisition of Janssen, Serero, Boerrigter, Rits and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, the future seems a
lot brighter for the Amsterdammers.
