champions.
Ajax Amsterdam midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Eriksen-c9074, has long been linked with a number of top European clubs including the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, AC Milan and Inter Milan. Reports in media were speculating that the Danish
ace looks set to leave the Eredivisie champions this summer.
However, the 20-year-old has now made it clear that he does not intend to move away from Amsterdam Arena in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The versatile midfielder, who started his professional career in the 2010/11 season at Ajax, has revealed that he has still a lot to learn before making a dream move to one of the European giants.
“I am a first team player, we compete for the title regularly and I want to again participate in the Champions League. For me, I think it is better to develop further while playing for Ajax”, Eriksen was quoted as saying to the
Dutch media.
The Danish midfielder went on to admit that he does not intend to leave the Amsterdam giants at this point of his career.
“You cannot say anything for sure in football, but I am 98 percent sure about staying at Ajax. I am still young and still have plenty to learn”, Eriksen concluded.
The highly-rated midfielder has been performing highly since making his debut for the Amsterdam giants in November 2010. He has thus far donned the Ajax jersey in 76 Eredivisie matches, netting 13 goals while setting up an impressive
29 more along the way.
Following his impressive and consistent showings at the centre of the pitch for the Eredivisie giants, the promising youngster is tipped to be one of the key players in Denmark’s Euro 2012 campaign in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
Although, many believe that the midfield ace will not be able to cope with the immense pressure of the major competition, Eriksen would be keen to impress many with his performances and help his side in achieving good results.
