The Ajax starlet’s agent Martin Schoot has confirmed that Manchester City were interested in luring his client away from Amsterdam Arena, but his client did not hesitate for a second to turn down the offer.

on to their prized asset’s services have always come in the way of interested parties.
The 20-year-old’s agent, Martin Schoot, has now made it clear that his client is not going to be tempted to leave the Eredivisie champions by lucrative offers, while stressing that the youngster choose to stay at Amsterdam Arena to further develop his skills
before making his dream move.
“He's not interested in money. He chose to stay for his development and because of that he's at Ajax. He's got a excellent relationship with Frank de Boer and he's enjoying himself in Amsterdam”, Schoot was quoted as saying to De Telegraaf.
The Danish sensation, who made his professional career debut at Amsterdam Arena in January 2010, has thus far donned the jersey of De Joden in close to 100 league games.
Scoring 15 goals while amassing an impressive 31 assists, the 20-year-old undoubtedly played an integral role in his side’s back-to-back Eredivisie triumph.

the youngster.
Nonetheless, the Danish international’s agent confirmed that his client took no time turning down the offer to continue plying his trade at Amsterdam Arena.
“Christian didn't think about it [the offer from Manchester City] for longer than 10 seconds”, Schoot concluded.
Eriksen has an ongoing contract at Ajax that runs until the end of the 2013/14 season.
