Christian Horner praises Red Bull Racing’s commitment in 2012 – Formula 1 news
Red Bull Racing team principal, Christian Horner has praised the commitment of his team and called it their factor of success in the 2012 Formula 1 season.
The Milton Keynes based team faced a lot of difficulties with designing its car during the start of the season because FIA banned the use of double diffuser and made some other changes in the rules and regulations.
Nevertheless, Red Bull never backed down and kept on working hard to construct the most competitive car to defend their championship title.
Finally, their chief technical officer, Adrian Newey efficiently developed the most competent car towards the end of this season with which their driver, Sebastian Vettel hit back really well and seemed unbeatable in the last few races.
Vettel performed remarkably well and successfully won his third consecutive world championship title by only three points from his main rival, Fernando Alonso of Ferrari.
Horner has said that they have won their third successive world drivers’ as well as the constructor’s titles just because of the relentless efforts of all the team members.
“The reason this team is so successful is because of the spirit within the team. The way that we work as a team, the way that we work as one unit,” Horner said.
Besides, he said that everyone at their factory works with due diligence and commitment which finally proved out to be fruitful in the end as they managed to defend their championship title.
“There’s so many heroic stories this year of people going beyond what they are asked of to deliver, to get performance from the car, to get components to the circuit, to get development into the windtunnel, to hit all of those targets,” he said.
Additionally, he admired the dedication with which his staff worked throughout the year despite facing immense problems during the start of the season.
“This championship, and a triple championship, would never have been imaginable without the commitment of the staff,” he added.
Currently, they are working on the development of RB9 and it will thrilling to see how they come up with it in the next season.
