Christian Nerlinger: Bayern Munich are ready to win Bundesliga next season – Bundesliga news
Bayern Munich http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sporting-89-c40576 Director, Christian Nerlinger, has revealed that the German giants are on the right track and would come out as a potent force during the upcoming season. He denied any claims regarding Bayern’s downfall and clearly stated that the
club has a new sense of belief which would certainly be on display the next season.
The director was confident about Munich’s chances next season and also confirmed about the new recruitments that are certain to take place. Nerlinger enthused that the Bundesliga giants won’t repeat the mistakes from the previous campaign. He also reckoned
that his team are possible contenders for winning the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League and expressed confidence in all the new signings that the club has made during the ongoing summer.
He was delighted with the arrival of Germany’s number one shot-stopper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Neuer-c23424, and hoped that the 25-year-old would prosper in his debut season at Allianz-Arena. Nerlinger was also hopeful about Rafinha’s success at the club. He reckoned that the
club had been lucky enough to get the services of an established right-back, which was indeed needed by the club badly.
While talking to the club’s local website, the director told, "We have taken a big step forward. We have a team that is very balanced. I can find no weak points in the team and we have not yet completed our planning. Neuer embodies class, as a character
as well as a player. And in Rafinha we have a right full-back with high technical qualities to drive us forward."
He also admitted about the club’s interest in Manchester City’s Jerome Boateng and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760. The 38-year-old clearly mentioned that the club were never prepared to pay in excess of 12 million Euros for each player, while
both City and Leverkusen are demanding too much for their respective stars. The former German international told that Munich would be looking for alternatives once they make the last ditch efforts to sign the duo.
Bayern Munich will kick-start their 2011/12 campaign on Sunday, August 7 against Borussia Monchengladbach at Allianz-Arena.
